The village of Nekrasovo in the Rylsk district of the Kursk province, like many other villages in Russia, has its own unique history. In the early 20th century, the local landowners Volzhins built a stone church here, but due to the revolution of 1917, it was never consecrated.

Next to the church was a family crypt where the Volzhins were buried. Nearby was an orphanage, of which only the foundation has survived to this day. According to local residents, the church remained closed until 1924 or 1938 and was destroyed even before the start of the Great Patriotic War. Now, only the foundations, which require restoration, and fragments of walls scattered around remain. Over time, a village cemetery appeared on the hill. From the Volzhin estate, the main house has survived, which was used as a warehouse, a bathhouse, and a garden.

In 2000, with the blessing of Archimandrite Hippolytus (Khalin), a village house was purchased and converted into a church, where services continue to this day.
