On a hill in the center of the village, surrounded by trees, stood a church built in 1842 by local craftsmen at the request of the landowner Kozin. In 1887, side chapels were added to it. Today, the domes and bell tower have been lost. The walls of the building were made of logs without remnants and covered with boards. This unique 19th-century church reflected the traditions of Belarusian wooden architecture of the 17th-18th centuries, characteristic of the southwestern regions of Bryansk Oblast. The main cross-shaped volume consisted of a two-tiered square base with a gentle dome, rectangular lowered side extensions, a five-sided narrowed altar, and an elongated refectory with steep pitched roofs. The church has not survived to this day.
