In the village of Lysye, Zlynkovsky District, Bryansk Region, the blessing of the cornerstone for a new church dedicated to the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos took place. The service was conducted by Bishop Vladimir of Klintsy and Trubchevsk. In the fall of 2010, during the dismantling of the old foundation of the previous church in the altar area, a copper plaque was discovered, laid in 1840 during construction. Notably, the finding occurred on October 30, exactly 170 years after the church was founded. In 2011, work began on pouring the foundation for the new church.
