On one of the elevated sites, where once stood a church built in the mid-18th century, it was closed during the Soviet era from 1939 to 1944. In 1962, the parish was finally abolished, and over time the building was dismantled for construction materials. In 2015, the construction of the new Dormition of the Theotokos Church began.

According to the project, the current church is a small wooden religious structure with a high stone foundation. The Orthodox church is being built with donations from the villagers.
