The Holy Trinity Church in the village of Zhuravka, destroyed in 1938, has now been revived in the building of the former Sunday school.

The stone church in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity was built in the village of Zhuravka in 1869. In the second half of the 19th century, it was visited by more than two and a half thousand parishioners, three zemstvo schools operated in the village, and in 1880 a church parish school was opened at the church. The parish included the hamlets of Seymitsa, Svinoy, Dumny, Grigorievka, Skorovka, and the village of Sergievskoye. The wooden Zhuravka church, which existed before the construction of the stone church, was dismantled and moved to the village of Psinka. The building of this school has survived to this day.

In 1938, the Holy Trinity Church was desecrated, and during the Great Patriotic War, in the course of the Battle of Kursk, it was completely destroyed. In 1992, the building of the church parish school was converted into a church.

The new Holy Trinity Church in Zhuravka was consecrated on July 8, 2007, with the blessing of Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. Not far from the church in Zhuravka, the old zemstvo school building has been turned into a museum of the village.
