On September 26, 2010, a solemn consecration and opening of the church dedicated to the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God took place in the Titovka microdistrict.

Originally, a wooden church was built in 1792. In the 1880s, a new stone church was constructed nearby. However, in 1929, the Tikhvin Church, like many others in Belgorod region, was destroyed.

In 1993, the church reopened its doors, located in a house adapted for church needs in the Titovka microdistrict of Shebekino. Over the next few years, the construction of a new chapel in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God took place.
