In the monastery, the myrrh-streaming miraculous icon of the royal martyr Nicholas was present three times. It first appeared in the monastery in May 2001, and on the evening of May 8, it began to exude fragrance and myrrh. Myrrh also flowed from the relics located in the monastery and from the icon of the Mother of God "Quick to Hear." In April 2002, after a moleben, the icon of the royal martyr abundantly streamed myrrh, as did the temple image of Christ the Savior "King of Glory." Abundant myrrh streaming also occurred on Lazarus Saturday when a moleben was held for King Nicholas. In memory of all these events and in honor of the presence of the miraculous icon of the royal martyr Nicholas, a summer temple was laid and built in honor of the holy royal martyrs. In September 2004, the icon visited the monastery for the third time. On September 19, 2004, His Eminence Sergey, Metropolitan of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk, consecrated the new monastery church.
