The church, built in 1876, was closed on January 21, 1935, by the decision of the Oblast Executive Committee. The building was then used as a school and later converted into a rural club. In October 1995, the church was returned to the Kursk Diocese. At that time, its internal and external condition was neglected. On April 11, 1996, a minor consecration of the church took place, and the first service was held. Currently, services are conducted by a visiting priest once a month.
