Фото 1
The wooden church with three altars was built in 1808 on the site of an old building. It was closed in 1938 and later destroyed.

According to the alphabetical list of churches in the Chernihiv diocese compiled in 1908, the wooden Nikolaev church was built in 1732 by Hetman Daniil Apostol. The Boris and Gleb wooden church dates back to 1808, although documents indicate an earlier foundation in 1726. The "Address-calendar of the spiritual department of the Chernihiv diocese" from 1789 mentions that the rector of the Boris and Gleb church in the locality of Novo Ropsk was Priest Viktor Sheremetyev. He graduated from the Ryazan Theological Seminary and had several church awards, including a pectoral cross, a skufia, a kamilavka, and a golden thimble cross.
