In the village of Frolovo, located in the Dzerzhinsky District of the Kaluga Region, there is the Church of Peter and Paul, built in 1876 with funds from the local peasant Vasily Kozhevnikov. The building is designed in an eclectic architectural style.

The church was erected on land owned by Vasily Kozhevnikov. Nearby, there were two zemstvo schools in neighboring villages and a school of the Ministry of Public Education.

The parish included seven fairly large settlements. In the 1930s, the church was closed, it was looted, and for a long time, it remained abandoned. Later, two buildings were added to it, and it was used as a warehouse and workshops.

In 1998, a new parish was established, restoration work began, and the bells once again rang from the bell tower.
