On July 10, 2016, the consecration of the church in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul took place, along with a Divine Liturgy.
The Peter and Paul Church was built by Leonid Pavlovich Petukhov, a retired major general and native of the village of Tureevka, who participated in the war in Afghanistan and other hotspots. He was assisted in the construction by his comrades, friends, and relatives. The work lasted four years. Tureevka, a small village that once had 70 families, many of whom were outstanding individuals, now has only 10 households left.
