The Church of Paraskeva Friday is located just a few meters from the village of Zayachye, next to an old village cemetery where graves from the 19th century can still be seen. The construction was carried out by local residents and private benefactors based on a design by an unknown architect. The church was built in 1867 and features architectural elements of the Empire style, which is quite rare in the Belgorod region.

The building is made of red brick, plastered and painted. The main volume is a geometrically correct two-story square with a four-pitched dome topped with five bulbous cupolas on central drums. Small apses are located on both ends; the right one served as a refectory and is connected to a three-tiered bell tower with a pyramidal faceted dome. The interior has preserved fragments of original paintings and frescoes in good condition, with bright colors indicating the high quality of the paints.

The church was closed no later than the 1930s, and the domes were destroyed. In 2000, the building was returned to the faithful and renovated. The church is now partially restored, the interior has been restored, and services are regularly held in the main hall.
