The village of Volno is first mentioned in documents from the mid-16th century under the name Volnoye. In the 1750s, the village came under the ownership of the Kaminsky family, who established a Greek-Uniate monastery on their estate. Here, in addition to the main subjects, children were taught philosophy.

The wooden structures of the monastery were demolished by the new owners, the Domyslovsky family, and in 1768, the Holy Trinity Church of the Uniates was built in their place. This snow-white architectural structure in the style of "Vilnius Baroque" is a three-nave, two-towered basilica. The facades are adorned with relief panels in the Rococo style, emphasizing the grandeur and monumentality of the building.

In 1895, the church was re-consecrated by the Orthodox, and to this day, it houses an icon of Saint Nicholas, dated to the 18th century, which is venerated by many generations. The Holy Trinity Church is recognized as a monument of architecture.
