Until 1917, in Timashevsk, which was then the Timashevskaya stanitsa, services were held in the stone Holy Trinity and wooden Holy Ascension churches. After the October Revolution, the stone Holy Trinity church was dismantled for building materials, and a water tower was constructed from its bricks, which has survived to this day.
