The Holy Trinity Church in the village of Staronizheseblievskaya was built and consecrated in 1913. In the 1930s, it was closed for worship and used as a warehouse. During the Great Patriotic War, the building housed a hospital. In the 1960s, the church served as a club. Restoration of the church began in 1988: the walls and roof were repaired, and worship services resumed in 1989. The rector was Archpriest Peter Tokarev, who served until 2008, after which Priest Maxim Voloshin took over the parish. Since 2010, a Sunday school has been successfully operating at the church, located in a neighboring building.
