In the village of Mansurovo, the Archbishop of Kursk and Rylsk, German, consecrated two new places of worship: a church in the name of the Holy Trinity and a chapel of the icon of the Mother of God "Derzhavnaya". According to the regional administration's press service, the construction of the church, designed by architect Valery Mikhailov, began on April 5 of last year. Mikhailov is known for projects such as the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Korennaya Pustyn and the Church of Saint George the Victorious on Victory Avenue. By August 5 of this year, seven domes had appeared above the white-green church. The bell tower is originally integrated inside the church, and the largest bell, named Ilya, weighs 400 kilograms.

Valentina Kozyreva, deputy director of Mikhailov's creative workshop, noted that the builders have successfully realized the authors' vision, and the church harmoniously fits into the local landscape, beautifying the village. The iconostasis was created by icon painters from the Holy Trinity Brotherhood in the city of Shchigry, and the icons were painted in Moscow. In the future, after the natural settling of the building, the walls of the church will be adorned with frescoes.

On the same day, the chapel of the icon of the Mother of God "Derzhavnaya" was consecrated, built on the site of Dmitry Medvedev's ancestral home, with his assistance and diligence, as indicated on the plaque at the entrance.

The solemn events in the village of Mansurovo were attended by the advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Trenoga, the governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Mikhailov, his first deputy, the chairman of the government, Alexander Zubarev, and other official and unofficial figures.
