Holy Trinity Church in Lyaty

Фото 1
In 1820, a wooden chapel dedicated to the Holy Trinity was built in the village. It was affiliated with the Okvadska Church, and in 1898 it was reconstructed into a full-fledged church.

According to the decree of the Holy Synod dated May 8, 1909, an independent parish was established, which included a priest and a psalmist. They were assigned a budget from the treasury: 300 rubles per year for the priest and 100 rubles for the psalmist.

During the reconstruction of the chapel, the central part of the church remained unchanged. The altar was consecrated in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in 1900.

By 1917, a new wooden church was built on a stone foundation, also dedicated to the Trinity.
