The church was built in 1868.
The reference book of the Omsk diocese, compiled by Ioann Goloshubin and published in Omsk at the Irtysh printing house in 1914, reports:
The village of Kurtail, also known as Novo-Redykino, is located in the Tobolsk province, Tyukalinsky district, Bazhenovskaya volost, by a lake in a marshy area. It is 130 versts from the diocesan city and 60 versts from the district and deanery.
The single-altar church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, was built with the funds of the parishioners in 1868. The building is wooden, with a wooden bell tower on a stone foundation, covered with iron, sturdy and spacious, with a sufficient amount of utensils. Special cemeteries are located near the villages of Ploskaya, Kalmakulskaya, Staro-Redykina, and Sterkhova.
The parish population consists of 1918 men and 1742 women, all Orthodox. The settlements of Golitsynsky and Novo-Troitsky are populated by settlers from the Chernigov, Voronezh, and Nizhny Novgorod provinces, while the other villages of the parish and the village itself are old residents.
The average annual numbers are: 250 baptisms, 25 marriages, and 150 burials. The church-parish guardianship has existed since 1905. There is no information on capital. The church-parish school has been located in its own building, insured for 500 rubles, since 1890.
In 1868, 115 desyatins of land were allocated for the clergy near the village, of which 92 desyatins are hayfields, and the remaining land is residential and unsuitable. The hayfield land is used for grazing peasant livestock, and in exchange, the clergy receives hayfields, from which up to 400 bundles of hay are harvested.
The clergy has two public houses: one for the priest with a small staff and another for the psalmist. The clergy buys firewood in neighboring settlements. The salary from the treasury is 150 rubles for the priest and 50 rubles for the psalmist. Brotherhood income for 1907 was about 400 rubles. The attitude of the parishioners towards the maintenance of the church and the improvement of the clergy houses is satisfactory.
Easter processions with holy icons are held in all homes; cross processions take place in the summer across the fields, after which prayers are held in the homes of parishioners. "Visiting" holidays are celebrated in the village and the village of Staro-Redykina on Trinity Day, in the villages of Inderi and Bolshaya Kazantseva on October 26, in the villages of Ploskaya, Sterkhovo, and Malaya Kazantseva on November 1, in the settlement of Golitsynsky on July 20, and in the settlement of Novo-Troitsky on August 15.
The sown area of each household ranges from 3 to 15 desyatins, rye and millet are not sown. Dairy farming is developed, with 15 separators working in the parish. In the village of Ploskaya, there is a tannery and a brick factory, and there are small shops in the village and surrounding villages.
According to the clergy's staff, there should be a priest, a deacon, and two psalmists, but in reality, there are only a priest and a psalmist.
