The first church in honor of the Holy Trinity in Krasnaya Gora was laid in 1744, but it was destroyed by fire in 1757. The residents began construction again, and in 1763 the church was consecrated. In 1922, during the persecution of the church, the church's property was seized by the village council, and in January 1930, services ceased. In the summer of 1937, a specially arrived team of carpenters destroyed the church. They tried to drop the dome using ropes, but unsuccessfully. Ultimately, the dome was cut down and removed, and the logs were used as building materials and firewood.

From 1937 to 2003, there was neither a church nor a prayer house in Krasnaya Gora. In 2001, an Orthodox community was established here, and the local authorities transferred a building to them. Thanks to public support and donations, a temporary church was set up in it.

In 2009, Bishop Theophilact of Bryansk and Sevsk conducted the ceremony of laying the cornerstone for the new church in honor of the Holy Trinity. Six years later, the domes of the new church shone, and it opened its doors to the faithful.
