In 1784, a wooden church with two chapels dedicated to the Three Hierarchs and Saint Nicholas was built in Krasnaya Gora. Services in this church were held until January 1930. In the summer of 1937, the building was completely destroyed, and its logs were used as building materials and firewood. After that, there was neither a church nor a prayer house left in Krasnaya Gora.
In 2001, an Orthodox community was established in the village. The district administration transferred the building of a former kindergarten to it, where a church was opened in 2003.
