Historical records about the church have not survived in the archives, but according to local residents, it was founded in 1875. Initially, the church was wooden, and the altar was consecrated in honor of Saint Demetrius of Thessalonica. However, the building burned down. Later, the residents built a brick church with three altars: the central one was consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity, the northern one in honor of Saint Nicholas, and the southern one in honor of Saint Demetrius of Thessalonica.

In the 1930s, the church was closed and used as a grain storage facility. During World War II, it was partially destroyed. After the village was liberated from German troops, services resumed in the church, which continue to this day.
