The stone church in honor of the Holy Trinity was laid in 1808 in the western part of the city. It included a refectory and a bell tower, and the main altar was consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity. The refectory contained chapels dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "Sign" and Saint Demetrius of Thessalonica. In 1886, chapels in honor of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Saints Cyril and Methodius, as well as Saint Alexander Nevsky, were added to the church. After the Great Patriotic War, the church building was used as a bread factory, and later an auto base of the district consumer cooperative was located on its territory. On March 5, 2005, with the blessing of Bishop Theophilact of Bryansk and Sevsk, a local Orthodox community was registered, to which the ruined church building was transferred.
