On August 6, 2015, on the day of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk conducted the rite of the great consecration of the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Glodnevo, Brasovsky District, and served the Divine Liturgy.

The parish of the Trinity Church in the ancient village of Glodnevo, where more than a thousand people live, has been known since the 17th century. The wooden church, built in 1797, was completely destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. The construction of a new church began in 1998, but at a different location. While the work was ongoing, services were held in a neighboring unused store building. The Holy Trinity Church was built with the support of benefactors and the villagers.
