The parish included the village of Dibožskoye, where the parish church was located, and three villages: Malogolovskaya, Kelcheyurskaya, and Ust-Izhemskaya, situated on the right bank of the Izhma River. Until 1833, these settlements were part of the Izhma parish, and from 1833 to 1865, they were part of the Krasnoborsk parish. In 1866, an independent parish was established.

The parish church, built in 1853, was attached to the Krasnoborsk church. It was wooden, with an altar dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity. In the village of Ust-Izhemskaya, there was a chapel dedicated to the Merciful Savior, erected in 1876.

In 1894, a church parish school was opened for the education of children, located in a rented apartment.

The parish particularly honored two icons sent as a gift from the Holy Mountain Athos in 1889: the icons of the Mother of God.

During the Soviet era, the church was subjected to looting and destruction.
