The Holy Trinity Church in the village of Bolshetroitskoye was built in 2005 on the site of a church that was destroyed in the 1920s, which had been constructed in the early 19th century.

In honor of the victory over Napoleon, General A.P. Yermolov erected a magnificent stone church in the village of Bolshetroitskoye, dedicated to the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. The construction lasted 12 years, from 1813 to 1825. In the late 1920s, the parish of the Holy Trinity Church was closed. The parish had 3,630 Orthodox believers and 170 Old Believers. According to the staff schedule, the clergy consisted of three priests, a deacon, and three psalmists. The church had an active choir, and there were church-parish and zemstvo schools, as well as a secondary school for 150 students.

In 1935, the church building was converted into a cinema, and the following year, during the construction of a cultural center, it was completely destroyed.

The new Holy Trinity Church was consecrated on June 5, 2005, by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol.
