The Trinity Church, the second stone church, was built in 1747 by order of the Moscow Spiritual Consistory at the request of the landowner from Putivl and Rylsk, Anna Zabelina, sister of the abbot Hieromonk Matfei (Lukashev). The church was consecrated in 1751, and services began to be held there, as the finishing of the main St. Nicholas Cathedral took many years. The Trinity Church was also constantly improved and reconstructed. Chapels were added to the northern side, which were dismantled in 1792 due to the need for bricks for economic purposes. In 1852, the cast-iron floors were replaced with wooden ones, and a new porch was built, while in 1858, the roof was updated with iron and the dome was adorned with golden stars. In 1883, a major internal renovation was carried out, and two years later, the exterior appearance of the church was updated. During the Soviet years, the church was partially destroyed, but it is currently being successfully restored.
