In 2006, with the blessing of Archbishop German of Kursk and Rylsk, Priest Michael Pieter organized a meeting of the residents of the village of Yubileyny, where the issues of creating a parish and building a church were discussed. Bishop German approved the name of the parish and the church in honor of St. Elizabeth the New Martyr, Grand Duchess. The Federal Service for the Kursk Region registered the religious organization on August 21, 2006. Thanks to the efforts of Priest Michael and with God's help, the construction of the church began in October 2006. The church was consecrated on July 18, 2010, and since then, regular services have been held there.
