The temple is dedicated to Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles First Martyr Fecla of Iconium, who is the patroness of the Uspenskaya Feclina Desert in the village of Senino.

This is the only temple in our country dedicated to Saint Fecla. In connection with this, wood was chosen as the material for its construction, as well as a style that symbolizes the gift to the first martyr from the Russian soul.

Construction began in June 2014, and the consecration ceremony was conducted by Bishop Nikita of Kozelsk and Lyudinov, on October 1, 2016.

Currently, regular services are held in the temple.
