The Panteleimon Church was completely built of stone and marked the beginning of stone church construction in the Starominsky district. It was located where the ZAO 'Sirodel' now stands.

The history of all four churches in the Starominsky district ended in 1937 when they were destroyed by the Bolsheviks. Almost nothing remains of these churches except for their history, photographs, and a small stone from the Panteleimon Church. This stone was preserved by the pious residents of the stanitsa and is now embedded in the wall of the modern Pokrovsky Church.
