In the village of Malo Kuzmino near Bryansk, there was previously a church in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, which was destroyed during the Soviet years. By the blessing of the ruling bishop, it was decided to build a church in the village in honor of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon.

The parish of the St. Panteleimon Church was founded in 2012. The first Divine Liturgy took place on Easter Sunday, May 5, 2013, and since then, services have become regular. In October 2013, a cross was erected, and then a chapel was built.

Nearby, there is a holy spring. In the future, it is planned to construct a chapel on the church grounds in memory of the deceased, and a village cemetery is located nearby.
