The Church of George the Victorious in the village of Tolokonno was built in the late 19th century. During the Soviet era, the church was destroyed; however, the bell tower remained, and in 2007, a modern church was added to it.
In 1775, a church was built in Tolokonno in honor of St. George the Victorious. It is known that in 1878, Baron Konstantin Konstantinovich Rosen and Varvara Nikolaevna Uvarova, the daughter of a landowner from the Bohodukhiv district, were married in this church.
In 1937, the church was destroyed, leaving only the bell tower. The restored Church of St. George the Victorious in the village of Tolokonno was consecrated on December 21, 2008, by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol.
