On May 5, 1997, the first stone of the church's foundation was ceremoniously laid. The wooden church of St. George the Victorious in Belgorod was built according to the design of architect L.I. Kolesnikov.

The church is executed in the traditions of ancient Russian architecture and is entirely made of wood. Its building is oriented from west to east and includes gilded domes, a "four-square" base, and a tent-like bell tower. Inside the church, there are two altars: the lower one is dedicated to All Saints, while the upper one is dedicated to St. George the Victorious. Inside, there is a three-tiered iconostasis with icons painted in the canonical style, and the space is adorned with wood carvings.

Next to the church, there are two chapels. In 1999, a chapel dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity was built according to the design of architect V.V. Vishnevsky. On August 4, 2003, Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated the chapel of St. Seraphim of Sarov, which was erected according to the design of architect O. Borovikov.
