The Church of Theodore Stratilates is the youngest church in Stary Oskol and was built in 2013. On June 19, 2012, a cornerstone was consecrated at the site of the future church in honor of St. Theodore Stratilates. The construction of the church was completed within a few months. The first Divine Liturgy in the newly built Theodore Church took place on February 21, 2013, on the feast day of St. Theodore Stratilates. On July 14, 2013, the church was consecrated by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol.
