The chapel in honor of St. Demetrius of Thessalonica in the village of Korotkoye was consecrated on October 1, 2011, by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. To ensure the village had a church, this small chapel was built in the same year. In 2012, a bell tower was added to it. Services are held here every Sunday and on festive days. The patronal feast in Korotkoye is celebrated on November 8.
