On July 28, 2016, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus, Metropolitan German of Kursk and Rylsk conducted the great consecration of the new church in the village of Zorino, Kursk region, dedicated to St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Prince Vladimir, and served the first Liturgy in this church.
The construction of the church was blessed by the head of the Kursk Metropolis and supported by Kursk entrepreneur V.V. Bredikhin, who was born in the village of Zorino and had long dreamed of building a church in his homeland. In October 2014, Metropolitan German consecrated the cornerstone of the church. Architect Evgeny Popov and engineer Oleg Morosenko created a project inspired by the ancient Alexander Nevsky church in the village of Shuklinka, Kursk region. In June 2015, the metropolitan consecrated the crosses and domes made by the masters of the Volgodonsk Engineering Center 'Grant', where a snow-white and golden iconostasis was also created. In April 2016, after the consecration and installation of the bells, the residents of Zorino heard the sound of the bells in their village for the first time. During the construction, landscaping work was carried out, and a parish house was built, which housed a baptistery, a refectory, and classrooms for the Sunday school.
