In the village of Vyazovoe, a church was built at the end of the 20th century in honor of Equal-to-the-Apostles Vladimir and the healer Panteleimon on the site of the church dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, which was destroyed during the Soviet years. This church became a spiritual and educational center for the village.

Originally, in 1840, a church was built in Vyazovoe in the name of Saint Nicholas, whose bell could be heard for 20 kilometers. In the early 19th century, an icon of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon appeared at a spring in the Vyazov forest.

After the 1917 revolution, the church was closed, and in the 1940s it was destroyed, along with the chapel. The spring was repeatedly buried, but the water continued to break through, and people secretly visited this place.

In 1992, thanks to the efforts of local residents, the construction of a new Nicholas church began, which was completed in 1995. However, the church soon burned down.

The new church was consecrated by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol on November 23, 2003, in honor of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and the great martyr and healer Panteleimon.

On May 8, 2005, Archbishop John consecrated a chapel in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, as well as a new chapel and bathing area at the spring in the forest near the village, dedicated to the great martyr and healer Panteleimon.
