In 2013, in the village of Oktyabrsky, Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk conducted the consecration of the cornerstone for the construction of a church in honor of Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. An Orthodox cross was installed at the site of the future church.

The construction was completed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of Archpriest Vasily Gelevan and active parishioners. The church, the only one in the Bryansk diocese, is dedicated to Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. It is adorned with two domes made in Volgodonsk, where a beautiful stone iconostasis was also purchased. The bells for the church were made in Voronezh.
