The church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir in the village of Kletnya was built in the second half of the 20th century, not far from the site where an ancient wooden church burned down in 1981. After the fire, the new church was constructed on a different site. Construction began in 1982 with the blessing of Archbishop Gleb of Oryol and Bryansk, and in April 1983, he consecrated this church.
