The Church of John of Kronstadt in Belgorod is one of the newest religious buildings in the city. Despite this, its wooden architecture resembles the ancient works of Russian architects from the Russian North. The church is located on Bogdan Khmelnitsky Avenue.

Construction of the temple began in 2008, and its consecration and opening took place in the summer of 2009. The ceremony was attended by military personnel and veterans of the Russian Navy, as St. John of Kronstadt, after whom the church is named, is considered the patron saint of sailors and the fleet. This is one of the few wooden churches in Belgorod. The church has a cross-shaped plan, and its building is adorned with a tent roof and a dome with a cross.

The church, built from light logs, is small in size and follows the traditions of wooden architecture, harmoniously fitting into the quiet green area. At the entrance to the church, there is a porch in the form of an open narthex. The interior space of the church is traditionally divided into a vestibule, a central area for the faithful, and an altar with a holy throne, separated by an iconostasis.

A special value is added to the church by the icon of St. John of Kronstadt, consecrated in the John Women's Monastery in St. Petersburg. This gift to the church was presented by the governor of Belgorod region, Evgeny Savchenko.
