The church is located in the center of the village by the pond and stands out among the surrounding buildings. On the opposite bank, there used to be structures of the Razrytoye Women's Monastery, which have not survived. Built in 1834 by order of Count V. Gudovich on the site of an earlier wooden church, the building is made of brick and plastered, with rubble and strip foundations. This is a strict and monumental four-pillar cross-domed church in the style of late classicism, architecturally similar to the Assumption Cathedral in Mglin, distinguished by a harmonious combination of volumes. The large building with a square symmetrical plan is topped in the center by a high cylindrical drum with a hemispherical dome. Powerful four-column porticos with pediments adjoin the central part of the facades on three sides (except the eastern side). The simplicity and clarity of the composition are emphasized by the strict decorative embellishments of the facades. The rusticated walls beside the porticos are capped with an entablature. The cornices of the pediments are adorned with large modillions, while the drum cornice features small decorative elements. Inside the porticos, the columns are replaced by flat pilasters with rectangular openings between them, framed with sandriks and shallow semicircular niches above. The middle part of the eastern facade is also decorated with pilasters and has one window in the center.
In large rectangular niches on the sides of the porticos are windows with window sills, and above them are large semicircular openings. The arched windows of the drum are decorated with keystones and ledges at the edges. Inside, four powerful pylons in the center, connected by arches to each other and to the walls, divide the internal space into nine cells. The side parts are covered with cylindrical vaults with ribs running parallel to the sides of the central square. The pylons, with their inner corners cut off and featuring original semicircular niches, support the drum with the dome using sails. The walls have almost no architectural divisions, except for simple cornices with a slight overhang; the drum is decorated with pilasters. A fragment of wall paintings in oil on plaster has survived: the lower part of a saint's figure on the right wall of the altar. The Razrytoye Trinity-Pokrovsky Women's Monastery was founded in 1900 by the widow of a general-adjutant and vice-admiral, Princess A.V. Golitsyna, in her estate. Initially, it existed as a women's community, and in 1904 it was transformed into a monastery. Its stone church from the early 20th century has not survived.
