The Archangel Michael Church in the village of Maslova Pristan was built between 1995 and 1998 on the site of a church from the late 19th century, which was destroyed during World War II.

The first records of the Archangel Michael Church in Maslova Pristan date back to the mid-18th century. The church, built in 1890, was closed before the war and destroyed as a result of bombings.

Since 1954, local residents organized a parish that was housed in an old wooden building.

In 1995, the construction of the new Archangel Michael Church began. The first stone was laid and consecrated in the center of Maslova Pristan, next to a mass grave where more than a thousand Russian soldiers who died during the war are buried.

On December 25, 1998, Bishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated the newly built Mikhailovsky Church.
