The Archangel Michael Church in the village of Kolotilovka was built in 2000 on the site where a wooden church from the 19th century once stood, destroyed during the persecutions against the church. In 1676, there was already a wooden church in Kolotilovka, located by the pond. By 1855, the construction of a new brick church was completed, which included the opening of a parish school with a three-year curriculum. In 1955-1956, the church was destroyed, and its materials were used for the construction of agricultural facilities. On August 31, 1997, a cornerstone for the new church was consecrated in the center of the village. On May 6, 2000, Archbishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated the church in the name of Archangel Michael.
