The pre-revolutionary St. Michael the Archangel Church in Kalinovka was destroyed, and in its place, the House of Folk Creativity was built.

Since 2000, the residents of Kalinovka found a space that they converted into a church. The dean of the Rylsk district conducted the rite of its consecration. In 2004, a dome was installed on the church.
