The Mikhailo-Arkhangelskaya Church in the village of Vyshne-Daimenskoe, Zolotukhinsky District, was built by the noble Bukreev family in 1802. In 1902, Yevgeny Alexandrovich Bukreev organized repairs for the bell tower.

During the German occupation in 1941, the church was looted and turned into a blacksmith shop.

In 1947, the parish resumed its activities. Priest Panteleimon Kapitonovich Vgurnov arrived at the church, which was restored thanks to donations from local residents. People brought materials and money, returning hidden church items: utensils, shrouds, vestments, chalices, Gospels, icons, and even a chandelier.

Initially, services were held in the refectory part of the church. In 1949, after repairs, the church was consecrated with the participation of the Dean: Archpriest Gerasim and Priest Grigory Churilov from Shchigrovskaya Sloboda. In the same year, the church caretaker's house was rebuilt, where the rector lived with his wife.

The church was also repaired in 1954 and 1956. From 1970 to 1987, after the death of Father Panteleimon, services were not held in the church, and icons and church utensils were dismantled by parishioners for safekeeping.

In 1987, with the blessing of Bishop Iuvenaly, Archimandrite Hippolyt (Khalin) became the rector. A caretaker's house was built where services were held, and the church was gradually restored. Since March 2011, with the blessing of Bishop German, Priest Rostislav Vladimirovich Guselnikov has been appointed as the rector of the church.
