Church of St. Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Blagodatnoye

In 1894, a church was built in the village in honor of St. Alexander Nevsky. It was constructed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Emperor Alexander Nikolaevich's reign and dedicated to his patron saint, Alexander Nevsky. The construction cost the community 57,000 rubles.

The church owned 297 desyatins of land. The clergy consisted of a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist, with the priest residing in the church house. The number of parishioners was about 3,000 people. In 1909, the clergy's income from donations amounted to 2,434 rubles. The church parish school was located in the church watchman's building. During the collectivization period, the church was used as a grain storage facility, but it was reopened during the Great Patriotic War.
