Фото 1
In 1776, a wooden church with a bell tower was built in the settlement of Alexandrovka, owned by Ivan Dmitrievich Trubetskoy, which belonged to the Trinity Church of the village of Golofeievka. Later, this church was destroyed by fire. On July 27, 2003, a stone was laid for the construction of a new church, which was consecrated on December 28, 2003, by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. The funds for the construction were provided by a local resident, rector of Belgorod State University L.Ya. Dyatchenko. The chapel houses an icon of the Smolensk Mother of God, gifted by A.M. Shentsev.
