The Church of Tikhon of Zadonsk, located in the village of Nizhnyaya Serebryanka, is a monument of 19th-century architecture and is under state protection.
The church, dedicated to St. Tikhon of Zadonsk, was built in 1862, shortly after his canonization.
In the 1930s, the church was closed, looted, and partially destroyed. Its premises were used as a warehouse.
In 1998, a board of trustees was established to restore the church, headed by Yevgeny Stepanovich Savchenko, the governor of Belgorod Oblast. The restored church was consecrated by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol on November 8, 2000.
