The wooden church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous was laid on July 20, 2013. The cornerstone was consecrated by Metropolitan Sergey of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk. The first liturgy and minor consecration took place on November 28, 2014. The major consecration of the church in honor of St. Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous, the miracle worker, was held on June 7, 2017, at the Resurrection Belogorsky Monastery.

The consecration ceremony and the first Divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated church were led by Bishop Andrey of Rossosh and Ostrogozhsk, head of the Rossosh Diocese. The church of St. Spyridon serves as the winter church of the Belogorsky Monastery, where services are held daily from October to April.
