The second issue of the "Brief Historical Description of the Churches of the Arkhangelsk Diocese" from 1895 states:

"The parish church with one altar in the name of Nicholas the Wonderworker was built by the efforts of local residents by the decree of the Spiritual Consistory on July 16, 1851, and consecrated on October 21, 1858. The building is wooden, with a bell tower of the same material, clad in planks and painted. There are sufficient church utensils, vestments, and liturgical books, although the funds for its maintenance are quite limited."

Previously, this was the Andrichevsky parish, which separated from the Puy parish in 1884 due to its remoteness. The Andrichevsky parish included four villages located along the Puya River: three on the left bank, where the parish church was located, and one on the right bank, 495 versts from Arkhangelsk. As of January 1, 1895, the parish had 193 men and 200 women.

Today, the wooden church is in a state of disrepair and has become a place for local teenagers to hang out. However, a group of enthusiasts is making efforts to restore it, and in the 2010s, they reconstructed the freestanding bell tower.
