The building was constructed between 1862 and 1865 on the order of the landowner N.K. Verigo. The walls of the structure are hewn without waste and covered with planks, while the base is made of brick.
The architectural composition is a two-tiered octagon with narrow diagonal faces and a small five-sided altar projection. On the western side, a larger square porch adorned with a portico corresponds to the altar. The complex completion of the building includes triangular pediments above the narrow faces, into which the domes of steep gable roofs are embedded, as well as a low octagon with a gentle tent over the central part.
The facade decor includes a portico of the porch with paired columns at the edges and a pediment, as well as two triangular canopies on the narrow faces of the walls beside the altar. A prominently protruding cornice surrounds the octagon at the level of the portico's completion.
The interior consists of a single hall with choirs located along the walls on columns, and an altar separated by an iconostasis. The porch area with a staircase to the choirs opens into the hall through a small opening. In the middle part of the hall, the ceiling is covered with a gentle tent, while in the other parts of the church, the ceilings are flat.
